The park has generated a lot of revenue in the current financial year. In the last year, the state government received revenue of Rs 45 crore in 2022-23.

A wildlife expert expressed his concern by saying that the park could have generated revenue of Rs 100 crore from RNP as the special half-day and full-day safaris at the reserve had been immensely popular. Unfortunately, these safaris were discontinued on October 1, 2022. Keeping some safari zones of RTR closed for two days every week has adversely affected many stakeholders’ businesses.
